IGP reviews security measures across Capital

ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, visited various duty points in the federal capital. He reviewed the security arrangements, met with the officers and personnel on duty, and boosted their morale.
During the visits, he directed police officers to ensure strict checking, effective monitoring, and professional conduct. Senior police officers were also present on the occasion. IGP Islamabad stated that Islamabad Police is fully prepared at all times to deal with any situation in accordance with the law in order to maintain law and order.
He emphasized that Islamabad Police will not allow any disruption of peace in the federal capital and will utilize all available resources while taking necessary measures to protect the lives and property of citizens as well as public and private assets. He instructed all senior police officers to brief their personnel to deal with any situation and to personally inspect all duties.
He further directed that all officers and personnel deployed on duty must be sent with complete equipment, while officers should visit various areas of the city and ensure implementation of these instructions.
