IGP reviews traffic arrangements in Capital

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasaffic Officer Islamabad Capt. (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider at the Central Police Office Islamabad.
During the meeting, the IGP Islamabad reviewed the measures taken by the Islamabad Traffic Police for public convenience and discussed in detail the strategies to ensure smooth traffic flow and effective alternative routes during the movement of PSL teams.
On this occasion, the IGP Islamabad issued directives stating that citizens should face minimum inconvenience during movement and all traffic planning should be carried out keeping public convenience in mind. He also issued special instructions to enhance efforts for protecting citizens from accidents, maintaining road discipline, ensuring adherence to traffic laws and making legal actions against traffic violators more strict and effective.
Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad assured that Islamabad Traffic Police is taking all possible measures to provide the best travel facilities to citizens and to restore a coordinated traffic system in the federal capital ensuring smooth traffic flow and preventing any kind of disruption.
