IGP visits Police Station on Wheels

ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, paid a visit to the Police Station on Wheels. On this occasion, he was accompanied by DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza, and other senior police officers.
IGP Islamabad met with the police officers and personnel deployed at the Police Station on Wheels and reviewed the services being provided to citizens. Since its establishment, the Police Station on Wheels has provided services to more than 15,000 citizens. At the Police Station on Wheels, citizens can access services related to police stations and driving licenses at the same place simultaneously.
On the directions of the IGP Islamabad, the Police Station on Wheels and facilitation vans of Islamabad Traffic Police are also providing services to citizens at different centers during the night.
IGP Islamabad, stated that the objective of establishing the Police Station on Wheels is to provide assistance to citizens at their doorstep and to ensure the prompt resolution of their problems.
Furthermore, IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi organized an open court at the Central Police Office Islamabad under the “Open Door Policy.” During the open court, he listened to the problems of citizens and police officers and issued on-the-spot instructions for their resolution.
While issuing directives to the officers, the IGP Islamabad said that resolving citizens issues fairly and promptly is their top priority. He added that if any citizen faces any issue related to the police, they can attend the open court, stating that his doors are always open for the citizens.
IGP Islamabad also directed the concerned officers to address citizens complaints on merit within the specified timeframe and submit a report to the Central Police Office.
