IGP visits Rescue-15

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited Rescue 15 Islamabad. On this occasion, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and other police officers accompanied him.

 
During the visit, IGP Islamabad evaluated the operational performance of Rescue-15 and directed all police officers to respond swiftly to public complaints, utilize the police helpline effectively and exhibit professional conduct. He emphasized ensuring timely action in emergency situations and treating citizens with courtesy.
Moreover, IGP Islamabad held meetings with SSP Investigation, Director Legal, SP Saddar Zone and DSP CIA. He reviewed progress on ongoing cases, exchanged views on legal intricacies with the officers and instructed them to make the investigation system more efficient and transparent.
He directed all officers to ensure merit, transparency and professionalism. He emphasized that every case should be investigated promptly and based on solid evidence, so that the culprits can be brought to justice according to the law. He also instructed the Director Legal to bring improvements in legal assistance.
