ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, visited the Security division and Safe City Islamabad. During the visit, he reviewed the progress of ongoing development projects in the Security division.
On this occasion, SSP Security Division Muhammad Sarfraz Virk and Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad, Captain (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider, briefed the IGP Islamabad in detail about the ongoing construction projects and the “Cascade” system.
IGP Islamabad directed police officers to ensure the timely completion of all ongoing projects in the Security division. He also visited the Safe City Command and Control Center. During this visit, DG Safe City Shakir Hussain Dawar briefed him on the technical capabilities of the Safe City Islamabad, its response time, and the system’s effective role in crime prevention.
IGP Islamabad appreciated the performance of the Safe City team and issued instructions to take necessary steps to further improve the system’s effectiveness.
