ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the recruitment process for more than 1,700 vacancies in Islamabad Police is being carried out in accordance with merit, transparency, and the prescribed recruitment procedures. In this regard, the National Police Foundation is conducting physical endurance and running tests for candidates at various test centers established across the country.
Candidates are being assessed for their physical fitness, endurance, and other prescribed standards to ensure that every stage of the recruitment process is completed fairly, transparently, and in accordance with uniform criteria.

IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi reviewed the ongoing recruitment process and directed the concerned officers to ensure equal opportunities for every candidate. He emphasized that the entire recruitment process must remain transparent, impartial, and strictly merit-based. He further stated that only capable, physically fit, professionally competent, and deserving young candidates would be inducted into Islamabad Police.
DIG Headquarters Muhammad Ateeq Tahir visited the Police Lines Headquarters and the F-9 Test Centre to review the ongoing recruitment process. DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq also visited different test centers to inspect the physical tests, security arrangements, and overall administrative measures. They directed the concerned officers to ensure strict compliance with merit, transparency, and the prescribed procedures at every stage of the recruitment process.
Other senior officers of Islamabad Police also remained present at recruitment centers established in different cities across the country, where they personally monitored the physical endurance and running tests, security arrangements, candidate facilitation, and overall administrative management to ensure the smooth, transparent, and uninterrupted conduct of the recruitment process.
Comprehensive arrangements were made at all test centers for the convenience of candidates.
Shaded tents, clean drinking water, first aid facilities, waiting areas, and other essential amenities were provided, while effective security and crowd management arrangements ensured a safe, organized, and comfortable environment for all participants.
IGP Islamabad reaffirmed that the entire recruitment process would be completed strictly in accordance with the principles of merit, transparency, and fairness. He made it clear that no recommendation, influence, or unlawful interference would be tolerated.
He added that the induction of the best human resource is essential to building a more professional, efficient, and people-centric Islamabad Police force.
