ISLAMABAD: The Islamic Ideological Council (IIC) has passed a resolution against France on the issue of blasphemous caricatures.
According to details, a three-day meeting of the Islamic Ideological Council passed a resolution against France on the issue of blasphemous caricatures, while the statements of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Turkish President were appreciated.
In the briefing, Chairman Dr. Qibla Ayaz said that the Islamic Ideological Council has supported the boycott of French products. He has also formulated a plan of action for the holy personalities, Ahl al-Bayt and Sahaba.
The Islamic Ideological Council also recommended the opening of temples in Saidpur and Dharamshala and the allocation of funds for the non-Muslim community separately. Chairman Qibla Ayaz said that a coordinated policy will be formulated to eradicate terrorism.
He said that after full consultation with the Hindu Panchayat, it was recommended that the temple at Saidpur and the adjoining Dharamshala be opened. The Hindu religion has the right to perform its last rites at the place concerned.
Qibla Ayaz said that it is permissible to build a community center for the marriage of non-Muslims, there is no abomination in it. Government funding cannot be supported, so alternative proposals are offered. Chairman Islamic Ideological Council said that non-Muslims are citizens of Pakistan, a separate budget should be allocated for them, they should spend it on their own.
