Karachi: Imad Wasim, captain of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five champions, Karachi Kings has credited fans, coaches, and franchise owners for their constant support.
The all-rounder stated that he is really proud of the boys as they beat Lahore Qalandars in the final of PSL 5 which itself is a great accomplishment.
“One of the biggest achievements for me in T20 cricket as captain. Credit goes to owners, late coach Dean Jones, Wasim Akram and the people of Karachi for supporting the team throughout,” Imad said.
“No doubt, Karachi Kings winning against Qalandars that too in Karachi is a big achievement. To mark your stamp on the PSL 5 trophy is a great feeling and I’m really proud of my boys” he added.
It must be noted here that the Kings were crowned PSL 5 champion after defeating Qalandars by 5 wickets in the final here at National Stadium on Tuesday. – Agencies
