Islamabad: Islamabad Police Secretariat police team arrested an impersonator and recovered a wireless set, uni-form and MP5 rifle magazine from his possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Secretariat police team arrested an impersonator. Police team also re-covered wireless sets, uniform and one MP5 rifle magazine from his possession. The accused was identified as Yasir Nazir. Case has been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
Police officials were further directed to intensify the crackdown against the criminal elements. Safety and security of the citizens is the foremost priority of Islamabad Police and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
