KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday has said that imposing tax worth Rs375 billion on the people in budget 2021-22 is a cruel step.
In a statement, the PPP chief said that the baffled government had withdrawn taxes on mobile phone calls and internet. We reject the PTIMF (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf & International Monetary Fund) budget aimed at looting the people, he added.
Earlier, Bilawal Bhutto said that how the budget could be public when the inflation, unemployment and poverty are historic.
He said that the year has changed but the condition of people is still same. He said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has failed in providing relief to the common man.
“Imran Khan has unveiled his anti-public agenda. Pakistan Peoples Party will not allow economic murder of the people,” he added.
