Imran gets party’s performance report

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and PTI chairman Imran Khan has received a performance report of the party during Azadi Long March, held on May 25.
The report compiled by a four-member committee stated the role of the party, leaders and workers during the Azadi March. Furthermore, details about the departure of caravans from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are also mentioned in the report.
The details of media reports during the march are also included in the performance report.
The sources said the ousted prime minister will announce his future course of action after reviewing the findings in the report.
Earlier it was reported that Imran Khan was not happy with the performance of the PTI leaders and workers during the march and had ordered to prepare a performance report.
On May 25, the former prime minister held a long protest march against the present government, demanding the dissolution of the National Assembly and to conduct the next general election.

South Korea
keen to expand investment

ISLAMABAD: Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Suh Sangpyo called on Minister for Power Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan and Minister of state Hashin Notezai here on Wednesday.
Korean Ambassador showed keen interest in investment opportunities in Pakistan specially hydel power generation.
The Korean companies like KIA , Samsung have done investments in Pakistan and were looking forward to explore more avenues of cooperation.
Both sides agreed on accelerating the pace of development of hydel power projects by Korean companies. Such projects would not only improve Pakistan’s energy mix but also help bring the cost of power generation down.
Suh Sangpyo lauded Prime Minister’s commitment towards development projects during his time as Chief Minister and expressed high hopes that same would be carried forward now at the center.
