-Says strategy has been devised for National Assembly
-Claims several PML-N MNAs are in contact with his party
-Sees no significant change in Bajwa doctrine
-Interior Minister says PTI will be welcomed back in NA but no caretaker talks before August

LAHORE: In a latest development, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, who had been ruling out the possibility of returning to assemblies, on Monday said that party lawmakers could go back to the National Assembly (NA) for the caretaker setup.
The PTI parliamentarians tendered their resignations en masse on April 11, two days after Khan was ousted as prime minister through a no-trust move.
During an interaction with journalists in Lahore, the PTI chief said that they had devised a strategy for the lower house of parliament.
âWe will make Shehbaz Sharifâs sleep restless soon,â he added.
Khanâs latest comment comes two days after he had said that Premier Shehbaz would have to take a trust vote, claiming that several PML-N MNAs were in contact with his party.
Talking about the local body (LB) elections in Karachi and Hyderabad, the former prime minister said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) could not win elections without rigging.
Referring to the establishmentâs involvement in politics, Imran Khan said: âNo significant change in Bajwa doctrine.â
To another question, he said the reasons behind the PTIâs defeat in Karachi were the PPPâs rigging and the partyâs âweaknessâ.
Talking about the countryâs economic crisis, the former PM said the incumbent government was badly stuck.
âFinance Minister Ishaq Dar had to increase the prices of petroleum products but he didnât, which means the IMF would not come to rescue the country.â
The financial czar announced on Sunday that the price of petroleum products in the country would stay unchanged for the next fortnight â till January 31.
âThe PML-Qâs future is with the PTI. The PML-Q will win if it contests the elections on the symbol of bat,â Khan insisted.
Following Imranâs statement, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Monday said that the government will âwelcome backâ PTI MNAs to the National Assembly if they were to return but maintained that any discussion over a caretaker setup can be held only once the mandated tenure of the government expires in August.
Sanaullah, while talking to a private tv channel regarding Imranâs comments, said: âOf course, we will welcome them [back] into the assembly as even when they were leaving, we had said it was an undemocratic decision.â
