With one month left in the general election, political parties have geared up for campaigning across the country in a bid to woo potential voters.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will be initiating its campaign from Mianwali today, the hometown of party chief Imran Khan.
Imran, who is vying to contest the July 25 polls from four constituencies, including Mianwali’s NA-95, will address the party rally today.
Similarly, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will begin his electoral campaign from his home constituency of NA-57, Murree today.
Abbasi will address a rally in Kallar Syedan.
Moreover, the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA), a coalition of religious parties, plans to hold a rally in Peshawar today.
The MMA’s central leadership is expected to address the rally at Ring Road.
Relatedly, the Awami National Party will hold a public gathering in Peshawar’s Badhaber area.
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will officially launch its election campaign on June 25 from Karachi.
PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif will be coming to Karachi tomorrow for two days. He is expected to address the party rally and also visit constituencies where the party has fielded candidates.
