ISLAMABAD: A delegation from Islamabad Industrial Association visited the Central Police Office and met with Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr Akbar Nasir Khan.
During the meeting they deliberated on the security decisions for the business fraternity, affirming their commitment to ensuring a secure and conducive business environment.
In line with these efforts, the sector I-10, I-9, and the industrial area will undergo the installation of CCTV cameras and the high-tech surveillance cameras will be installed on all internal and external routes, integrating them into the Safe City Islamabad centralized system.
Additionally, 30 special police officers will be deployed in the industrial area, ensuring the peace and tranquility and the deterrence of criminal activities. Furthermore, the Islamabad Industrial Association will provide 10 motorcycles to special police officers to reinforce the patrol squad in the industrial area.
Moreover, special cameras will be installed outside the banks, money changers, jewelry stores, and key buildings, further fortifying security measures in the area. In light of these developments, all stakeholders have been advised to augment their security arrangements by employing private security guards.
Additionally, the establishment of a community center within the office of the DPO Industrial Area is underway, aiming to facilitate the business community. The Islamabad Industrial Association extends its gratitude to ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, for his dedication to fostering a secure and prosperous environment for all businesses within the industrial area.
Today, at the central police office, Islamabad, a significant meeting took place between the esteemed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr. Akbar Naseer Khan and a delegation from the Islamabad Industrial Association. During the meeting, crucial decisions were made to enhance security measures for the business community in the industrial area.
