JIANGXING: International Media Tour in Zhejiang kicked off in Haiyan County, Jiangxing City on October 31st, China Daily reported . Themed on “Happy China Digital Zhejiang”, this activity invited over 40 journalists from foreign media in China, foreign Internet celebrities in China and journalists from Chinese online media to display and spread the new achievements of Zhejiang’s high-quality development, new progress of common prosperity, and new features of cultural innovation and inheritance to the world synchronically through visits, reports and discussions.
The Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jiaxing Municipal Committee and Deputy Director of Cyberspace Administration of the CPC Jiaxing Municipal Committee Pan Fangmei said on the launch ceremony that Jiaxing is the place where Chinese Red Boat Revolution set sail, enjoying the advantages of national strategies of the Belt and Road Initiative, Yangtze River Economic Belt, and Yangtze River Delta Integration. It is also the birthplace of Majiabang Culture and the permanent venue of World Internet Conference. Today’s Jiaxing, with all counties (cit-ies) among China’s Top 100 counties and Top 40 counties that balance urban and rural development, ranked the first for 18 consecutive years in terms of farmers’ income. “At the origin place where the Red Boat set sail, we experience a better China that as if was described in the manifesto by the Communist Party of China.” Said Pan Fangmei.
