ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan commended the investigation and prosecution teams for their dedication in scrutinizing new scientific methods in the Sara Inam murder case and ensuring justice is served.
In recognition of their efforts, ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan honored the teams with commendations and special invitations extended to Sara Inaam’s parents at Central Police Office Islamabad. The mother of the deceased, in a heartfelt gesture, personally acknowledged the exceptional performance of the police teams by presenting them with commendatory certificates.
Expressing gratitude, Sara Inaam’s parents extended their heartfelt appreciation to ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the prosecution and investigative team, and the collaborative efforts of Islamabad Capital Police, acknowledging their relentless pursuit of justice.
Deceased Sara Inam was murder in the jurisdiction of Shahzad Town police station by accused Shah Nawaz. Upon receiving the information of the incident, the Islamabad Capital Police swiftly registered a case and apprehended the culprit, conducted a comprehensive investigation aligning with modern scientific requisites, and presented all evidence before the court.
Based on the compiled evidence, Shah Nawaz was found guilty by the court and sentenced to death, with an additional fine of Rs 1 million.
