Iqbal Qasim resigns as chairman of PCB Cricket committee

Lahore: Former Test spinner Iqbal Qasim has stepped down from his position as chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) cricket committee, ARY News reported.
According to sources, Qasim was not happy after his recommendation to restore departmental cricket was rejected. He also tried to approach board chairman Ehsan Mani but there was no progress on this matter.
The 67-year-old is the third individual who has resigned from this position. Former coach Mohsin Hasan Khan and PCB’s Chief Executive Wasim Khan were the other two to step down from this position.
