Islamabad admin bans new allotments in 12 housing societies

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Commissioner Islamabad / Registrar Co-operative Housing Societies Islamabad has issued a notification calling for a complete ban on all new allotments in 12 societies.
According to the details, the authorities have placed a complete ban on 12 cooperative housing societies because of their incomplete layout plan and their non-approval by the CDA and other concerned development authorities.
The notification further states that there would also be a ban on new membership, and the transfer of plots in the said housing societies will also be completely prohibited.
Furthermore, the sale of ready-made houses has also been subject to the approval of the Registrar Cooperative Housing Society.
The housing societies where new allotment has been banned include:
IB Employees Cooperative Housing Society (Incl. Gulberg Greens), Federal Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Federation of Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Services Cooperative Housing Society, Pakistan Medical Cooperative Housing Society, Islamabad Farming Cooperative Housing Society, NA Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Cabinet Division Employees Cooperative Housing Society, M/O Interior Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Civilian Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Senate Secretariat Employees Cooperative Housing Society, CBR Employees Cooperative Housing Society
