Islamabad: Islamabad Capital police hosted farewell for the outgoing Superintendent of Police (SP) Islamabad Fazal Abbas Shah who retired from his services after serving the force, a police public relations officer said.
He said that the farewell ceremony was attended among others by Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan and all other senior officers.
ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan appreciated the services of SP Fazal Abbas Shah and said that the officer had served in Islamabad Capital police with dedication and commitment adding that his services to make Islamabad capital police as an ideal force will be remembered forever.
SP Fazal Abbas Shah joined Islamabad capital police as a Probation ASI in 1987 and served various posts including Deputy Superintendent of Police and Superintendent of Police. He also performed his duties in United Nations peacekeeping missions.
Recently he was working as SP Awan Sadar where he served till retirement.
The ICCPO gave a souvenir to the outgoing officer. Islamabad Capital City Police Officer said that the services of Fazal Abbas Shah would be remembered forever as he played a vital role in improving the image of the police force.
