ISLAMABAD: IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Police continues its operations against illegal encroachments in different areas of the federal capital.
The locations where the operations were carried out include Bhara Kahu, Mandi Mor, Khanna Pul, and Lehtrar Road. During the operation, Islamabad Traffic Police teams removed illegal carts and items placed along the roads, which were severely affecting the flow of traffic.
Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk instructed police teams to accelerate their operations against illegal encroachments.
He further emphasized that the aim of clearing the pathways of encroachments is to improve traffic flow, and operations will continue in other areas where traffic flow is being impacted by encroachments.
Citizens are requested to immediately report any unusual activity to Islamabad Police’s emergency helpline, Pukar 15.
