Islamabad: ITA Islamabad Super Cup-2020 continued at the PTF SDA Tennis Complex, Islamabad. Aqeel Khan maintained his winning spree and some excellent tennis was observed in his match against Ahmed Chaudhary. It is pertinent to note that due to COVID-19; only participating players/parents/coaches were allowed to witness the subject event.Similarly, Muzammil Murtaza and Muhammad Abid also displayed their talents, with Muzammil outplaying his opponent. Huzaifa Khan moved into the finals. Mr. Salim Saifullah Khan President PTF was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of the PTF-ITA Islamabad Super Cup-2020. President PTF Mr. Salim Saifullah Khan stated that PTF is the first federation which is organizing a national event following a long break. He stated that more events will also be held in the near future as well. He also appreciated the efforts of the PTF and ITA management for joining hands in organizing the subject event. More over two qualifying matches were played on the opening day in the Men’s category between Pakistan No. 7 & 8 against the wild cards Barkatullah & M. Shoaib. Earlier Islamabad Tennis Federation ITA Islamabad Super Cup-2020 starts at the PTF SDA Tennis Complex, Islamabad. The Mr. Tariq Murtaza President Islamabad Tennis Association and Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority Mr. Tariq Murtaza was the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the PTF-ITA Islamabad Super Cup-2020.
He interacted with the players and welcomed them and also appreciated the efforts of the PTF and ITA management for joining hands in organizing the subject after a long break in tennis activities due to Covid-19.Mr. Khawar Hyat Khan Senior Vice President- PTF was also present at the occasion. According to details issued by PTF the Final of the Men’s single was between Aqeel Khan & Muzammil Murtaza, while the juniors final was played between M. Huzaifa Khan & Hamid Israr.

Barkatullah beat Yousaf 6-7(7), 7-5, 7-6(3). Ahmed Choudhry beat M. Shoaib 7-5, 6-4
