Karachi: Former flamboyant all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi is making sure to serve his countrymen in the best possible way in this tough situation.
Afridi is currently running ration drive under the banner of his welfare Trust ‘Shahid Afridi Foundation SAF’. He is currently on the tour of remote areas, those areas that are underdeveloped and need help when the whole country is locked down due to coronavirus.
“This country has given me everything, so it is my duty that I help the people in times of crisis. We are making sure to help as many people as we can to make sure that no one remains helpless,” Afridi told SportStar.
The legendary cricketer explained how difficult was it for them to immediately respond to emergency situation in the country. “We had to start the campaign in an emergency and things had to be sorted out. We had to do it really fast because, in a country where there is unemployment, poverty, it is important to take quick action,”
