ITP holds road safety workshop for Rangers

ISLAMABAD: Following the special directions of the IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi the Islamabad Traffic Police organized a one day road safety workshop at Rangers Headquarters Saidpur.
The workshop was attended by officers and personnel of Punjab Rangers. During the workshop experts delivered detailed lectures on road safety, traffic laws and accident prevention.

Additionally, Rangers personnel were briefed on safe driving principles both during duty and in general circumstances. After the workshop practical driving tests were conducted for the Rangers personnel to assess their driving skills, adherence to traffic laws and abilities to drive in emergency situations. SP Traffic said that the purpose of such training and awareness workshops is to familiarize security personnel with safe driving principles so that not only their own safety but also the safety of other citizens can be ensured.
He further mentioned that Islamabad Traffic Police will continue to conduct such awareness programs in the future to promote road safety awareness and prevent accidents.
