ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has expanded its online services on the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Sohail Chaudhry, to facilitate citizens. Residents can now apply online from home for learner permits, driving licence renewals, and duplicate license through the Islamabad Traffic Police web portal.
Effective Monday, October 19, these services will no longer be available at Faizabad Traffic Headquarters and other Police Khidmat Markaz. Renewed and duplicate driving licences will instead be delivered directly to citizens through TCS courier services.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan said citizens would no longer need to make unnecessary visits to police offices to collect their driving licences. She advised applicants to provide their full name, correct residential address, and active mobile number when submitting online applications, as incorrect or incomplete addresses may delay delivery.
CTO Islamabad Kainat Azhar Khan further stated that Islamabad Traffic Police is committed to providing modern, convenient, and efficient online services. Facilitating citizens and saving their time remain the top priorities of Islamabad Traffic Police.
