Rawalpindi: South Africa’s Test captain Quinton de Kock has termed their defeat against Pakistan in the two-match Test series as ‘painful’ and ‘disappointing’ following another batting collapse on final day of the second Test.
South Africa collapsed from 241/3 to 274 all out and after 18 years, they lost a Test series to Pakistan.
“It’s painful at the moment. It’s disappointing but when we get back home, we’ll have to have a look at our performances and the way we went about things. We’ll have to get back home and improve on the way going forward,” De Kock said after the game. – Agencies
