Karachi: New Zealand left-arm pacer Trent Boult has revealed that he has always idolised legendary Pakistan pacer, Wasim Akram.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) shared last year’s video on Boult’s birthday in which he admitted that he considers himself fortunate to have met the Pakistan legend a few times.
“I’ve always idolised Wasim Akram and what he’s done over the years and it’s been nice to have a couple of chances to rub shoulders with him and understand how he used to do it back in the day, and it’s all still very relevant,’ Boult said.
Boult is celebrating his 31st birthday today. The number one ranked ODI bowler has picked 470 wickets in all three formats since his debut in 2011. – Agencies
