ISLAMABAD: H.E. Mr. Akamatsu Shuichi, the Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Government and the people of Pakistan on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on August 14, 2026.
In his video message, Ambassador Akamatsu said “ On behalf of the Government and people of Japan, I extend our warmest wishes and heartfelt congratulations on Pakistan’s Independence Day. As we look forward to the 75th anniversary of Japan-Pakistan diplomatic relations in 2027, we renew our pledge to work together as trusted partners to promote peace, progress, and stability and to further strengthen friendly relations between Japan and Pakistan.”
