Jilin starts road safety after deadly accident

CHANGCHUN: Northeast China’s Jilin Province launched a road safety inspection, after 18 people were killed and one was injured in a road accident in the province Sunday. The accident occurred around 5:40 a.m. Sunday in Jilin’s Fuyu city, when a minivan crashed into the rear of a tractor moving in the same direction, and then collided with a small truck coming from the opposite side. Local authorities have organized 10 comprehensive inspection teams to carry out the road safety inspection in different areas of the province. – Agencies
