Jordanian police delegation visits Security Division

ISLAMABAD: A delegation comprising senior police officers from the Jordan police service and the National Police Academy visited the Security division Islamabad.
SSP Security Capt. (retd) Syed Zeeshan Haider received the delegation and provided them with a comprehensive briefing about the core security system and its operations.
The delegation was informed about the central system of Islamabad Police, the working of various offices, and the concept of community policing.
SSP Security briefed the delegation on the citywide camera network, the effective performance of the police, and the security arrangements for national and international dignitaries, foreign delegations, embassies located in the high-security zone, and other important government buildings.
He stated that the checkpoints located at all entry and exit points of the high-security zone play a crucial role in crime prevention and the identification of suspicious individuals during inspections and data recording.
During the visit, the delegation was also taken to the Safe City control room, the Special Protection Unit, and the Police Khidmat Markaz “Cascade,” where they were briefed about the performance of different departments, the use of modern technology, and the services being provided to citizens.
The Jordan police service delegation appreciated the professionalism, effective management, and modern security systems of Islamabad Police and expressed their best wishes. On this occasion, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq and SSP Security presented honorary shields to the delegation on behalf of Islamabad Police.
