JUI-F Chief to address CPC’s Centenary ceremony on July 5

ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (Fazl) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman will virtually address the Communist Party of China’s state ceremony.
The Maulana will make an online speech to the Communist Party’s state function on July 5. Chinese President Xi Jinping has invited 500 like-minded leaders from across the world. The preparations for the function are in full swing in Beijing. The state ceremony will be held at the Great Hall of People in Beijing. According to details, the ceremony organizers have already recorded the Maulana’s address which will be f 8 minutes long.
President Xi will inaugurate the Communist Party’s function. As many as 500 like-minded leaders have been invited to the function. It’s a big honour for Maulana Fazl that he has been invited to address the Chinese state ceremony because it is for the first time that any Pakistani has been invited to address a Chinese state function. The sources inform that the Maulana will especially discuss the CPEC project and will deliberate on its impacts on the politics of the region and the world. He will also shed light on the importance of the Chinese role after the shifting of the balance of power from West to East and its relationship with its neighbouring countries.
The diplomatic circles are of the view that the Maulana’s address is historically and politically important as it would represent the political, social and ideological character of the Muslims of the region and it would present solution to the problems being faced by them.
