Senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader Khursheed Shah warned the government of agitation across the country if the party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was arrested terming it a ‘dangerous game’.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, the veteran PPP leader commented that it is impossible to impose governor’s rule in Sindh since it is impermissible under the law and the Constitution.
“The law can be abolished and governor rule imposed through martial law,” adding that it will threaten Pakistan’s integrity. He further said that Sindh needs no in-house changes and that cases have been made on assumptions.
On the occasion, the PPP leader also called out the federal government for attempting to impose civilian martial law. He further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was in fact ‘brought’ into power, and accused the ruling party of birthing instability in the country.
