ISLAMABAD: Capital Cops booked a man for his alleged involvement in murder of German national and recovered vehicle from him used in the crime.
According to details, a German national was gunned down by two on 29th December as he resisted during dacoity attempt at sector G-10/4. The assailants managed to escape after the scene. However, cops collected evidence from the scene of crime and began investigation into the matter by using modern technology.
DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed took notice of the incident and constituted a police team under the supervision of SP Saddar Sarfaraz Virk to trace out the criminals. The police team succeeded to arrest the main accused Nasr-ud-Din and are conducting raids to arrest the other culprit.
Police also recovered the vehicle used in the crime. Further investigation is underway from the accused. IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan and DIG Operations have appreciated the performance of the police team while directing for ensuring the arrest of the other wanted person at earliest.
