PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has vowed to continue the fight against terrorism with full force and determination, saying the province’s people will stand alongside security forces. Chairing a special security meeting in Peshawar, Kundi reviewed the province’s security situation and emerging terrorism threats.
Participants were briefed that the situation remained peaceful and normal across the province following the imposition of an emergency.
The meeting decided to further strengthen the police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and other law enforcement agencies to combat terrorism. It also agreed to address issues affecting the operational capacity of security institutions on a priority basis. –Agencies
