KUNMING: Around 1,000 people participated in the 2021 Kunming City Orienteering Challenge (COC) in the capital city of China’s Southwest Yunnan province on the first day of year 2021 to encourage a healthy lifestyle. City Orienteering Challenge encourages participants to take part in outdoor exercise. It is a popular urban activity to promote a team spirit during the event. About 1,000 residents divided into groups of five took part in this year’s event. Each team needed to run across Kunming’s four districts along five routes and complete a number of difficult tasks by walking, running or taking public transport. –PNP
