Bishkek: President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jenbekov congratulated the people of the country on the Day of Education Workers, his press service reported. Congratulating teachers on their professional holiday, Sooronbay Jeenbekov said that our society always appreciates the work of teachers and treats them with respect.
“The teacher not only opens the world to his students through knowledge, but also points the way and leads them to the great path of life,” the Kyrgyz leader stressed in his congratulation. “Today the role of the teaching profession and the authority of the teacher in society are growing.
The teachers’ corps in Kyrgyzstan is worthily overcoming all difficulties and trials of the current period,” Jeenbekov said, adding that in conditions of coronavirus pandemic teachers were able to make necessary changes in the educational process in a short period of time so that students did not interrupt their education.
President Jeenbekov noted that the state highly appreciates honest work of teachers. He also emphasized that social support of education workers will remain a priority in government policy.
