Bishkek: President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov continues his working trips to the regions of the country. On Aug. 12 – 13, the Kyrgyz leader will pay working visit to Batken, Dzhalal-Abad and Osh Oblasts.
According to his press service, within the visit Jeenbekov will familiarize with the activity of medical, social, agricultural, industrial and educational facilities.
He will also got acquainted with implementation of projects on irrigation improvement, reconstruction of internal roads in conditions of coronavirus infection pandemic.
Meanwhile, A new park will appear in the southern part of Bishkek. During his visit on Aug. 11, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov suggested that the park be named after Adinai Myrzabekova in memory of medics and volunteers who have made invaluable contributions to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Jeenbekov once again noted the selfless work of medical workers, his press service reported.
“In the struggle for the most precious thing – life, we all pray to God and wait for help from doctors. In these difficult days, burden on medical workers and responsibility for people’s lives on has increased . Once again I express my deep gratitude to our doctors,” the Kyrgyz president stressed.
“Contemporaries seek to perpetuate the memory of their heroes. We also wish that the memory of Adinai will be preserved for many years to come. Let each of us, coming to this park, pay tribute to the memory of Adinai and our heroic doctors,” the head of state noted.
During the tour of the park, which has several sports grounds, Jeenbekov witnessed training games in basketball, volleyball and workout.
Representatives of Street Workout Federation said that in the coming weeks, given the current epidemiological situation, they plan to hold sports competitions without spectators, using digital technologies. They asked the president to assist in organizing this event.
