Bishkek: On Sept. 17, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov held bilateral meetings with Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó.
The meeting of the two foreign ministers took part within the framework of Aidarbekov’s working visit to Hungary, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
During the meeting, the Kyrgyz side expressed gratitude to the Hungarian Government for the humanitarian assistance provided and discussed the implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as issues of further expansion and deepening of Kyrgyz-Hungarian cooperation through the organization of visit of Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov to Hungary in 2020.
Thus, the sides reviewed in detail the draft agreements of other documents currently being considered in the light of the upcoming visit of the Kyrgyz leader.
“Kyrgyzstan considers Hungary to be its important and reliable partner in the international arena. Opening of Hungary’s diplomatic mission in the Kyrgyz Republic and your working visit to Bishkek as part of humanitarian assistance to Kyrgyzstan in the fight against coronavirus confirms great attention of the sides to the development of bilateral relations in the spirit of openness and sincerity,” Chingiz Aidarbekov emphasized.
The two ministers agreed to intensify work on trade, economic and investment cooperation.–Agencies
