SHEIKHUPURA: One labourer was electrocuted to death while
another scorched during boring for installing water pump here on Sunday.
According to details, two labourers were engaged in doing boring to install
water pump in Dera Changran of village Lagar in Sheikhupura when the iron
bar mistakenly struck high tension power line passing over.
As a result, 36-year-old Waseem was electrocuted to death while 23-year-old
Nadeem was scorched.
The body and injured were shifted to local hospital where the body was
handed over to heirs after legal formalities and the scorched labourer was
under treatment.
