Lily Collins is saying goodbye to Emily Cooper as she marked her final day of filming the hit Netflix show after seven years.
The 37-year-old actress reflected on the milestone in an joint Instagram post with show creator Darren Star on Friday, September 18, admitting it was “impossible to find the words for what this journey has meant to me.”
“For so many years, Emily has been a part of my life, and through every season, she’s continued to surprise me, inspire me, and challenge me,” Collins wrote.
She went on to thank Star and praise the show’s “unparalleled crew,” writers, directors and cast, calling them “now family.”
“You have made Emily, Emily. You made this world feel like home,” she wrote, while thanking fans for supporting the series throughout its run.
“This has forever changed me. Au revoir, Emily Cooper…” Collins added.
Netflix announced in May that the upcoming sixth season would be the show’s last. –Agencies
