ISLAMABAD: CIA team raided a distillery in Khanna police station jurisdiction which led to the recovery of a huge quantity of liquor.
He said that, following the directions of DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatta renewed efforts are underway to curb bootlegging and drug peddling activities in the city.
A CIA police team raids a distillery in the area of Pindorain in PS Khana jurisdiction. Police team conducted a raid and recovered 08 canes, 240 liter alcohol, 200 bottles liquor, liquor manufacturing instruments and other packaging materials.
Police team also arrested two accused namely Sajjad Sohail and Asif Masih during the raid. Accused have previous record also, cases have been registered against those running this distillery and further investigation is underway.
