RAWALPINDI: A floral wreath was laid at the mausoleum of Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider at Tufailabad, Punjab to pay homage to the brave son of soil who embraced Shahadat in 1958, said a statement released by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday.
According to the Military’s Media Affairs Wing, Major General Muneer-ud-Din, General Officer Commanding 35 Division laid floral wreath at the mausoleum. “A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented guard of honor”, the statement said, adding, various people from different walks of life, civil and military officials and relatives of Shaheed attended the wreath laying ceremony. –ISPR
