Lahore: The departure of veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik to England has been delayed until the second week of August, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced today.
India extended the ban on international flights until 31 July, as a result, Malik’s planned family reunion has been delayed.
When Malik will join the squad for the T20I series, which starts on 28 August in Manchester, the team management will release a player.
It must be noted that the PCB had given special dispensation to the 38-year-old by allowing him to join the squad on July 24. – Agencies
