ISLAMABAD: PS Karachi Company and Homicide Unit arrested an accused involved in a murder case.
Following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police had categorically started a crackdown against criminal elements in order to save the precious lives and property of citizens.
On March 18, 2023, the Karachi Company police station received an application from a citizen who stated that an unknown accused opened fire on his brother Ateeb Abbasi, from which my brother succumbed to his injuries and died on the spot. Upon receiving the application, the Karachi Company police team registered an FIR no. 329/23. Following this incident, a special investigation team was constituted.
The police teams utilized all available resources and used technical and scientific methods and arrested the accused, namely Ghulam Abbas, while further investigation is underway.
