ISLAMABAD: A citizen submitted an application at Humak police station stating that his sister had been unjustly killed by her husband namely Muhammad Qasim who opened fire on her using a firearm.
Acting promptly on the complaint the Islamabad Police registered case number No. 299/25 and initiated an investigation. The Humak police in collaboration with the homicide unit employed modern technical and scientific investigative methods to apprehend the accused Muhammad Qasim involved in this heinous crime. DIG Islamabad Shakir Hussain Dawar emphasized that Islamabad Police is conducting indiscriminate operations to curb crimes, violence and murder incidents. The accused will be brought to justice with strict legal action ensuring a solid case based on concrete evidence.
He further said that Islamabad Police is utilizing all available resources to protect the lives and property of citizens. Citizens are urged to cooperate with the police and immediately report any suspicious individuals or activities to the concerned police station or emergency helpline ‘Pukar-15’ so that with joint efforts society can be freed from crime, he added.
