ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Dr Syed Mustafa Tanveer on Sunday said the force has renewed efforts to transform Islamabad into a crime free capital. All resources would be utilized to secure the lives and properties of citizens, he said in a statement issued here.
Meanwhile capital police arrested five outlaws including a suspect who allegedly robbed patient’s relatives at PIMS Hospital after intoxicating and recovered cash, narcotic and wine from their possession.
According to details on the directions of SP (Saddar-zone) Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, Karachi company police team has arrested a suspect who allegedly robbed patient relatives at PIMS Hospital after intoxicating, identified as Shakeel Ahmed and further investigation is underway from him. Further- more Golra police team arrested a lady accused namely Hajra bibi and recovered stolen cash from her. Khanna police arrested accused Ali Haider and recovered 30 liters alcohol wine from him.
Aabpara police arrested accused Rizwan Younas and recovered 15 liters alcohol wine from him. Shahzad Town police arrested accused Umer Naz and recovered 149 gram heroin from him. Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Operations Dr Syed Mustafa Tanveer have appreciated the performance of police teams and directed all cops to remain present in their areas, no laxity will be tolerated in that regard.
