ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Humak police team arrested a wanted member of a vehicle snatcher gang involved in numerous vehicle snatching activities and recovered the snatched vehicle from his possession.
Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has intensified the crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Humak police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending a wanted member of a vehicle snatcher gang.
The accused was identified as Muhammad Farooq. The police team also recovered the snatched vehicle from his possession. Case was registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed to being involved in car snatching activities in the jurisdiction of Islamabad.
