ISLAMABAD: PS Ramna caught a wanted member of a gang, involved in looting people, especially Food Panda delivery guys, on gunpoint. A bike and arms used in various encounters were also recovered from the accused while a case has been registered against the culprit, accordingly.
Moreover, during preliminary investigation, the culprit has confessed of his involvement in various crime instances at various parts of PS Shalimar and PS Ramna jurisdiction areas. Further probe is underway while sensational revelations are expected from the accused.
On the directives of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan, DSP Operations had tasked all cop offiials of the entire city to operate against anti-social elements, while recovering looted valuables from the crooks. Thus on the orders of SP Saddar Zone Muhammad Sarfraz Virk, PS Ramna formed a special team comprising of SHO SI Turab-ul-Hasan, ASI Rizwan, along with personnel. The given team, making use of human resources and CCTV footages, managed to catch accused Qamar Iqbal alias Billa, involved in looting citizens on gunpoint, especially Food Panda delivery guys. A motorbike and ammunition used in various snatching instances, was also confiscated from the crook while a case was also registered in this regard. DIG Operations has appreciated the performance of the entire team and has announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for the officers and personnel of the team alike.
