ISLAMABAD: PS Margalla booked man for stealing petrol and diesel from the vehicles of CDA’s Environment Wing.
According to details, the Deputy Director of CDA’s Environment Directorate informed the cops about capturing a private vehicle from F-9 park carrying diesel. Thus, PS Margalla, during investigation, busted accused Niaz, security guard-cum-driver of CDA’ Environment Directorate, involved in stealing official petrol and diesel from the vehicles of the department.
ASI Hakim Ali, within a couple of hours, through outstanding performance, managed to uncover the gang involved in stealing official diesel and petrol.
Pseudo FIA officer busted from Capital
ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency Anti-Corruption Wing on Thursday arrested a pseudo Assistant Director of FIA, who looted people by luring them into the trap of offering jobs in Islamabad.
As par sources, a resident of Nowshera, identified as Afaque Ahmed was arrested over presenting himself as Assistant Director of FIA. The culprit was accused of Rs1.5mn fraud under the name of appointments in the IB. A laptop, mobile phone and cash were recovered from the custody of the crook.
Further investigation is underway from caught Afaque Ahmed. It is pertinent to mention here that back in the month of November 2018, Pakistan Rangers Sindh had arrested a man pretending to be an army officer from Karachi’s area of Mubina Town area. The pseudo army officer was wanted in several criminal incidents.
6 dacotis caught, valuables recovered
ISLAMABAD: Saddar Zone’s cops on on Thursday caught six dacoits and recovered four pistols, ammunition and valuables worth Rs. two million from them.
According to details, at a tip off, SP Saddar Muhammad Sarfaraz Virk constituted a police team comprising police officials of PS Golra to raid at the hideout of the dacoits. The team including PS Golra’s SHO Shaukat Abbassi, ASI Rana Saleem and others, successfully raided at the informed place and arrested six dacoits when they were planning to commit dacoity at Golra.
The nabbed accused have been identified as Gul Zaman, Khawar, Qaisar, Sheeraz, Arshad and Nabeel. The cops’ team also recovered four pistols, ammunition and other valuables worth rupees two million from the accused. Moreover, during preliminary investigation, they further confessed of striking at different parts of the city while the cops are hopeful for more recovery from the accused.
IGP Islamabad Qazi Jamil-ur-Rehman has appreciated the performance of the entire police team.
