ISLAMABAD: PS Bara Kaho nabbed a proclaimed offender, involved in 15 cases of dacoity, child abuse and citizens’ harassment at picnic points and recovered hashish from him.
According to details, IGP Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar Khan had ordered crackdown against criminals especially those involved in crimes of heinous nature. Thus, following the orders, DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed directed all zonal officers to accelerate their efforts in curbing crime in the city.
Thus, SP City Sarfraz Ahmed Virk constituted a special team under the supervision of ASP Hamza Aman Ullah including SHO PS Bara Kaho SI Naveed Tahir, SI Mazher Iqbal and others. The team nabbed wanted criminal namely Usman Munir resident of Mandala, Bara Kaho, involved in cases of dacoity, child abuse and harassment of citizens at picnic points. Cops also recovered 1.060 kilogram hashish and cash from him.
Further investigation is underway from the nabbed person. DIG Operations Waqar-ud-Din Syed has appreciated the overall performance while directing all cop officials to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
