Karachi: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ehsan Mani has got the right to take a decision on the hosting of this year’s Asia Cup 2020.
The Board of Governors (BoG) members in the 57th meeting took the stance to authorized the PCB top management to make a decision. As the event is under the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) the PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani will represent Pakistan at the upcoming ACC meeting.
The date and venue are not confirmed yet but the chairman will present a proposal that is the interest of the PCB and not mix the politics with sports.
It must be noted that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has clarified the buzz that they are not going to play the Asia Cup in Pakistan at any cost.
